Hello!
We are students of the second year of Secondary Education in Broto.
The last Thursday 14th of March, we made beautiful handicrafts with recycled material.
We did this activity with students of 1 and 2 year of Primary Education, Ana Belén´s class.
We prepared four handicrafts, a exposition about plastic recycling and a kahoot.
The first activity, Jorge and Alonso prepared jewellery with coffee capsules. We used coffee capsules, glue, scissor, strings and paints. We made necklaces. It was very fun and a fantastic experience. Younger students enjoyed the activity and they liked the jewellery.
The second activity, Marcos and Irene prepared a hanging garden. We used plastic bottles, string, cutter, ground and seeds. It was for planting seeds. If students water the seeds, the seeds will grow. Students had fun, because the hanging garden is very beautiful.
The third activity, Jerónimo and Jimena prepared a fairy house with recycled materials. We used plastic bottles, glue, scissors, toys and paints. First we cut the bottle into two parts, then we painted them and stuck the toys. Finally we stuck the two plastic bottles and decorate them. it was fantastic and very fun!
The last activity, Elena and Toño prepared plastic pots. We needed: glue, plastic bottles, recycled fabric and a cutter. It was very easy!
How did we prepare them? First, we cut the plastic bottles, then we stuck the fabric on the bottles.
We did this activity because the Earth is being destroyed and it is very important to recycle and be careful with the plastic. It is very important to show younger students how important is to recycle!
